Best Places to Get a Drink on Maui

Anyone who knows me knows that I love a good cocktail, glass of wine, margarita, or craft beer. If you’re planning to visit Maui at any point.. I want you to be prepared! I’ve put together a list of my favorite places to grab a drink all over Maui!

West Maui -Lahaina, Kapalua

Merriman’s Kapalua

This is one of my favorite places to grab a drink because of how large their cocktail menu is as well as the wine bar that they have down on the point. It’s an amazing place to have a delicious drink and watch the sunset. This is one of my go-to places to bring friends and family when they come to visit. We’ll go get a cocktail, watch the sunset between Wailea and Molokai and enjoy each other’s company.

If you’re in West Maui during whale season, this is a perfect place to see whales jump and they also have cute firepits for you to sit around and enjoy!

If you want to go to Merrimans, I would get there early to grab a table because they fill up fast!

Frida’s Mexican Beach House

I LOVE a good margarita and Frida’s has amazing margaritas and they have a bunch of different types of margaritas that you can choose from. Frida’s is oceanside so almost every table in the restaurant has an amazing view. You can take in the views, drink margarita’s and eat amazing Mexican food.. what more could you ask for?

South Maui – Wailea and Kihei

Monkeypod Kitchen

This is one of my favorite places to get a cocktail in South Maui. There isn’t really a view from inside, but some outdoor seating has a view… but the mai tai is TO DIE FOR. This will literally be the best Mai Tai you will ever have in your life. The lilikoi foam that they put on top is unbelievable. If you go during happy hour (3-5 pm) they have specials on the Mai Tai’s so you really have no excuse! Monkeypod has two locations, so easy access! There’s one in Wailea and one in Ka’anapali.

Ferraro’s Ristorante at Four Seasons

Ferraro’s Ristorante is located in the Four Seasons in Wailea. If you’re looking for a more high-end experience… Ferraro’s is your best bet! They have an extensive wine list to choose from and you get an epic view of the sunset each night. You’ll definitely want to make reservations early because they fill up quickly!

Maui Brew Co.

Maui Brew Co. is located in North Kihei and is a more relaxed vibe. They have a full menu as well as beers that are brewed in-house. They were the first brewery that went off-grid in the United States. Their brewery is completely powered by solar energy and it somehow makes the drinks taste even better. We love sustainability. Maui Brew Co. has more than just beer! Their cocktail menu is pretty great if you’re not a beer drinker!

North Maui – Paia

Milagros

Milagros has an incredible margarita menu. I know we talked about margaritas before at Frida’s but in North Maui, this is your place to go. My favorite margarita that Milagros has to offer is the Juan Collins margarita. Literally incredible.
