If there’s one thing this wedding was, it was stylish. Brooks and Amber chose to wed at the Ritz Carlton Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii. Their stylish Ritz Carlton Kapalua wedding had lots of sweet moments and they truly had many reasons to celebrate!
Getting ready
The day started over at the Kapalua villas where Brooks and his best man Rex got ready. I loved the relationship these guys had. They took it easy that morning getting ready and sipping scotch between jokes and figuring out their suspenders (which was quite the ordeal).
Meanwhile, the girls gathered at the Ritz to get their hair and makeup done and help Amber prepare to see her groom for the first time. Amber’s dress, Sasha by Made with Love, fit her perfectly and was so beautiful on her. I also loved how both mothers were involved in the getting ready aspect of the day. It’s amazing when families can blend together so seamlessly!
Ceremony and beyond
Before the ceremony, Brooks and Amber shared a first look at the beautiful grounds of the Ritz. It was tearful and beautiful. I loved how Brooks looked at Amber – with so much love and adoration.
The ceremony was short and sweet – how it should be! They were married and we quickly went into sunset portraits on the grounds and over by Dragon’s Teeth in Kapalua. We had a beautiful orange sunset and I loved how the wind played with Amber’s veil!
Additionally, Amber is actually pregnant (don’t worry, I have permission to share)! They wanted to make sure to do a pregnancy announcement photo – so with the help of my awesome colleague Amber, we were able to get one of my favorite pregnancy announcement photos ever! Scroll to the end to see!
Amber and Brooks: congratulations! I so loved being a part of your stylish Ritz Carlton Kapalua wedding. Between the jokes, the failed ninja moves (Brooks, you know what I mean), and the amount of love and adoration shown by your family – I was so honored to have been there. Once again, congratulations. I can’t wait to someday meet baby West!
