This vibrant kihei wedding in Kihei was inspired by tropical flowers, bold colors, and lots and lots of love.
Born and raised here, Deb knew that when she tied the knot that Maui would be the only option. And really, how could Joel say no to getting married on Maui.
They chose Kihei as their Maui wedding venue. It worked perfectly as Deb and Joel got ready in adjoining condos on the property. It’s also oceanside so that way we could easily access the beach for portraits!
Highlights of the day included: cutting holes in Joel’s shirt for to make it french for his custom cufflinks, lots of laughs and tears during the ceremony, their first dance to a Reggae song (what’s more Maui than that?), and an epic sunset that turned the sky purple!
Their day had so many personal touches too. Deb’s bridesmaids presented her with a stuffed hedgehog because her pet hedgehog she had to leave at home in Texas. The bride’s dad teaches ballroom dancing – so that’s how they kicked off the dance party! And they even had a malasada “cake” from Deb’s favorite bakery, Komoda’s!
Big thanks to the vendors that made this day possible!
