with every collection, the Wedding album is my gift to you.

Why? Because your visual legacy matters.

We cherish memories through physical heirlooms, not pixels on a screen

Yet most couples never get around to printing their wedding photos.

Yep, you heard that right. For years, I left it up to my clients whether or not to buy a wedding album. They’d create one on their own, right? Wrong. When I polled past clients, I was shocked to discover that less than half had followed through to printing their digitals. What?!

So I asked my married friends as well. Nope. They hadn’t printed theirs either. Are you kidding me? Even my closest friends didn’t have their wedding photos printed?

Guys. This is important. Don’t let your memories live behind a screen! They are there to be enjoyed by you and everyone you care about. Your wedding album will come out on every anniversary; it’s what you’ll show your friends when they pop for dinner. It’s how you’ll tell your children the story of how it all started. It’s for you and the next generation.

And companies like Shutterfly with their cheap paper? Nope! Not for your wedding images.

YOU DESERVE BETTER.

Your wedding photos deserve
so much better.

That is why I include a legacy wedding album with every wedding collection.

Creating a visual legacy for your family is my number one priority as a photographer. Why do I care so much? Becoming a mother transformed my perspective on heirlooms. Growing families need the story in a way that’s tangible, touchable, and holdable. It’s now my passion to pass on the gift of physical memories to all my clients.

If you’ve never made an wedding album before, the process can be daunting. That’s why I’m here to hold your hand through the whole process and do all the hard work on your behalf.

My printers use 100-year archival paper and high-quality materials to make sure the images you see on your screen look the same when printed (because uncalibrated printers won’t do your photos justice). Trust me, you’ll want your album to reflect the true quality of the images you invested so much to have created.

Designing your wedding album

HERE’S THE TIMELINE:

  1. Plan the wedding
  2. Get married!
  3. Meet me for your date night to see your images for the first time!
  4. Design your wedding album with me!

When I’m getting close to completing your gallery, I’ll send you an email to pick a time and date for your date night and album design.

We’ll customize your album together in real-time. It’ll take 1 to 2.5 hours depending on how chatty we get (and we’ll have lots to talk about after sharing your best day ever)!

This is one of my favorite parts of the process.

Most of my couples spend $1-5K for the upgrade and find the investment well worth it. When we wrap up our Zoom meeting, your album goes directly to print and then straight to your door. Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.

Looking for a photographer dedicated to your memories?

First step, drop me a note in the contact form so we can touch base! Next, we’ll set up a Zoom call to make sure we are a good fit!

If we both feel good about our meeting, we’ll share a virtual high-five and I’ll send over all the good stuff so you can lock in my services for your wedding day.

COVER YOUR WALLS WITH LOVE

Here’s everything you need to know about wall art.

When you walk through your front door, you want your space to radiate with love and memories of those you cherish the most.  So, if you’re like the majority of my couples, you’ll be choosing a wall art collection together with your album.

These are heirloom pieces that will hang on your walls for years to come. I deliver premium quality to match the special place these pieces will have in your home and family history.

I work with three mediums including metal, framed print, and canvas. Before sending your images to print, I ensure they’re flawless so that whatever medium, size, and style you select, your art will turn out even better than you dreamed.

But – what to choose? How to pick the right medium? What even belongs on your wall?! It can get overwhelming without a guide. I’m here to help you through it all so you can make the best decision about how to display your favorite memories.

so how does wall art work?

Rule of thumb: Choose the ones that “spark joy” (Mari Kondo, anyone?). These are images that you’ll be looking at every day. so they need to remind you of moments you want to relive over and over.

In my experience, two types of images do best for large pieces of wall art: 1) those that “spark joy” and 2) those set against an epic landscape. But here’s the thing: even if you choose a closeup – I will make it flawless before it goes to print! I mean, if your faces are going to be huge on your wall, they need to look really really dang good!

I offer three mediums for my couples:

  • Metal (90% of my couples go with this medium because the colors POP!)
  • Framed Print (for a more elevated look on walls that may have a color or a pattern. This comes in maple, black, and white, all with museum-quality non-reflecting glass)
  • Canvas (for a softer look – the canvas has a texture and I’ve found is great for typical portraiture or detail shots – but not scenery)

Wanna hear something cool? I can show you EXACTLY what your images will look like on your wall! Just send me a photo of your wall with the measurements (length in inches). During our design meeting, I’ll show you what the images will look like on your wall. No need to guess.

Wedding Albums and Wall Prints are how you share your visual legacy with your loved ones.
