Maui Jungle Engagement Photos
Mike and Stella chose to do their Maui jungle engagement photo shoot. It was done a few months before tying the knot in October. They wanted something romantic, beautiful, and quintessentially Maui. I knew that Honolua Jungle and Ironwoods Beach were the perfect combinations for these two!
The sun was quite intense that day but that was perfect for the jungle. To shoot in a place with a jungle canopy, you need a lot of light. Luckily, we had lots of light streaming in through the dense trees. With the help of Atmosphere Aerosol, we got some cool shots with sunrays! And we can’t forget Mike’s brother who helped us as well! We couldn’t have done it without him!
Ironwoods Beach Engagement Photos
After the jungle photos, we headed over to Ironwoods Beach to catch the sunset. Clouds had rolled in while we were in the jungle, but it was so pretty! I love the stark contrast between her engagement dress, the ocean, and the rocky cliffs. The wind really caught her dress and made it blow in the breeze!
This beach is always changing with the tides and I love that it’s always different. We had some great salt spray in the air and lots of waves! This is definitely one of my favorite Maui portrait locations in West Maui!
